Endocrine System and the Nine Energy Centers in Human Design

The hormone producing and secreting glands of the endocrine system are represented by the energy centers in the BodyGraph. The throat center is the thyroid glands. The root center is the adrenal glands, and the kidneys are part of the solar plexus, or the emotional awareness center. The liver and blood are the G center, and the pituitary gland is the Ajna; the center for conceptualization, analyzation. It is also mental awareness. The Pituitary gland is considered to be the master gland, for it sends signals to the rest of the system. Based on what it perceives, the pituitary gland sends signals as to how much and which hormones to create and send. The Ajna, is under pressure from the Head center, pineal gland and gray matter of the brain, to make sense of the information coming in. IThe endocrine system, in association with the nervous system and the immune system, regulates the body’s internal activities, to preserve the internal environment. The body’s interactions with the external environment can impact the internal environment.
